The Football Association is holding Manaseer PRO  championship draw for the 2016-2017 season at seven p.m. on Tuesday, which will be launched on July 29th of this month  with the super cup match, which brings together Al Wehdat team- Manaseer League pro champion for the season 2015-2016 and Al- Ahli-Manaseer National Cup champion - for the 2015-2016 season.

The draw for the league championship and the cup alongside the Shield tournament, which is back once again upon the recommendation of the competitions department and the blessings of clubs aims to help these clubs by providing better opportunities to prepare for the new season in a competitive atmosphere; especially in light of the delay in the launch date of the league and the cup to after hosting the finals of FIFA U-17 Women's world Cup in Jordan.

The ceremony which will be held at the Great Hall of Amman in Al Hussein Youth City will have a number of Jordanian football stars which is happening for the first time in the history of the Federation Championships draw since the start of its major tournaments in 1944, when HassounaYadge, Nabil Talli, Khalid Salim, Ahmed Al Rosan,KhaledAwad, BasemTayyem, Mohammad Al Irsan andRiyadh Talafhah were invited to participate in the tournaments draw.

Mr. Cesar Sobar secretary general of the Football Association, has expressed satisfaction with the measures and arrangements taken by the union departments related to the ceremony as it embodies the vision of His Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, head of the executive body in showing our domestic tournaments at their best to spectators inside and outside Jordan’s borders, especially after the modifications and improvements to the venues where the matches are going to take place, thanks to the efforts made by the Ministry of youth and the Greater Amman Municipality.

Moreover, Sobar communicated the union’s appreciation and acknowledgement to Engineer Ziad Al Manaseer’s companies, Manaseer Group; the official sponsor of Jordanian football in general and the professional championships in particular, for the ongoing support provided to everything related to the game through the Manaseer group’s  great support that lies in the interest of clubs, as well as the corresponding support of the Radio and Television Corporation of Jordan which is reflected positively to strengthen the financial resources of clubs which form the backbone of the Jordanian football.

For his part, Mr. Mueen Qudada, vice president of the board of directors in Manaseer Group, said, "We are delighted to launch the activities of the Jordanian PRO Championship tournaments, since we believe in the importance of active participation in the social responsibility that stimulates the local community and contributes to its development. We, in turn focus on sports for its great impact in the development and enhancement of the capabilities and skills of young people, through the Manaseer trade company’s (Al.Adyat Al.Sareah) sponsorship of the PRO Jordanian championship 2016/2017. This trend embodies the vision of Engineer Ziad Al Manaseer, and achieves the objectives of Manaseer group of supporting local sports, especially football as a popular game that captures the masses widely and spurs the fans passion.

For his part, Mr. Mohannad Mahadin, marketing and communications manager and general supervisor of the ceremony said that the Marketing Committee during its last session, which was held under the chairmanship of engineer Loay Omaish declared the draw ceremony arrangements, as well as the Winners’ Cup opening arrangements for the new season provided by the marketing and communications department and approved by the executive council during the last session.

Mahadin also noted that the marketing department held, during the past few days, a series of meetings with the departments of tournaments and media, documentation and event management along with two working sessions with officials in Engineer Ziad Al Manaseer’s companies and another with officials at the Jordan Radio and Television - the exclusive broadcaster of the Union’s tournaments – that will broadcast the ceremony’s proceedings live.

An official invitation was extended to individuals concerned in the clubs that have participating teams in the PRO Championship in addition to Sports Cities managers and media representatives.
